Sponge? fingers?....I have really dry flaky skin fyiWhat is the best way to apply liquid foundation?
Well, if you use your fingers you will have your natural oils mess it up. First, make sure that you put on a great moisterizer first. Then if you can find one, use a foundation brush. That way you can get great coverage without all the oils. Just make sure that you wash your brushes at least once a month. What is the best way to apply liquid foundation?
Start with a base of a light moisturizer. Then apply with a sponge in an upward motion.Start at the neck and work up your face. After it is dry, blot and blend with another clean sponge for a flawless look. The moisturizer is important to get an even, clean look especially for dry skin.
I use a sponge,.. you get a more even application with one..( i used to just use my fingers), %26amp; try applying a face lotion ( with spf) first, or use a tinted mosturizer instead of foundation..it will help minimize the dry skin!
put a bunch of dots on your face and blend it in gradually with your fingers, that way will blend it in better than a sponge, and for dry skin, apply a face moisturizer before putting on the foundation.
hope this helps, goodluck. :]
fingers.
what i do is, dab like spots all over my face then just rub it in like any other cream/sunscreen. (:
hope that helps.

fingers will give more coverage like 50% is removed on the sponge and sponges need cleaning or they harbour bacteria from old foundation.
Likewise, make sure your hands are clean before applying or by dispossable sponges.

You should never use your fingers. The oil and dirt from your fingeres just goes to your face and caused pimples. Try dabbing the foundation onto different spots, and patting it in and covering your whole face with a disposable sponge, like those triangle shaped ones. For dry skin, use a moisterizer b4 applying makeup.
I agree, fingers....Sponges sometimes absorb the make up more than applies it, causing it go streak. It also can waste your makeup, and if you don't use clean sponges, bacteria build up on them causing breakouts.
