Buy a darker shade of the same brand and play with the two mix them to find the perfect shade add more of the darker shade to make it tanner and more of the lighter shade to make it more natural play with it you'll get it right.
I think you should just buy slightly darker foundation or a bronzer. I think the people who make the makeup are the best at adjusting the shade of it. Adjusting it yourself may just look fake.
