Kamiah, as one w/oily skin, you should use a foundation that is water based; however, the care of your skin is most important. Use a product(s) that help to keep your oil under control. Also, don't compound the problem by eating a diet that has a lot of fried and fast food. For my oily skin, I use aularale.com/7002. Both the liquid and creme foundation is priced under $30. Also, try using a loose translucent powder over the foundation.
