What's the best way to apply liquid foundation?

i can apply other makeup ok, but struggle with foundation so what's the best way to apply itWhat's the best way to apply liquid foundation?
First use a hairband to keep your hair off your face.

Always use a light moisturiser before application for a good, even coverage. Ask at the makeup counter to help you choose the right shade of foundation for your skin. Apply a small amount to the palm of your hand and using light upward strokes apply to face and neck with your fingertips - making sure that you have even coverage over your whole face and neck, including eye lids.

You don't want to look orange and you don't want a foundation line (some people make the mistake of stopping at their jawline) - you need to continue it on down the neck but fade it so that it meets your own skin colour without a line. You don't want it to be so thick it looks like stage make-up either.

Foundation doesn't suit everyone and some people prefer to use a bronzer.

Good luck - I'm sure you'll look beautiful. What's the best way to apply liquid foundation?
yes
Dot the foundation on your face blend in with a damp cosmetic sponge or your fingertips then use a foundation brush to make your foundation flaw less

A foundation brush really makes a difference you can buy them in most chemists.

I had mine from Avon
I mix it with moisturiser,it is easier then to put on.
Use a small damp sponge.

I think it depends largely on which one you buy. I bought a crappy avon one the other day which was awful but i have the 16 hr flawless finish one now i think its loreal which is brilliant. I just put a pea sized amount in my hand and apply by fingertips!
i usually apply it as i would a face moisturiser, squeeze generous amount on fingers and blend over face,as it dries you will see any parts you need to apply more.
the best way is to apply on elayer of face lotion (cream) and then add the liquid fundation equaly and entire face and then apply powder foundation :] :]
water pistol
apply in the middle and work your way out to give an even and naturally flawless look.
Be sure that you have a moisturizer on before applying liquid foundation. Use a cosmetic sponge. Put a small amount of foundation on the sponge. Dot in several places on one area of your face then using quick, light motion, spread until even. Do not drag or rub. Repeat until whole face is done. Be sure to finish with a dusting of loose powder.
Apply a moisturizer for your skin type. Wait and couple of minutes-then, get a makeup sponge and dip it in some water. Squeeze the excess water. Put a dollop of liquid foundation on the sponge and apply on your face. It's best to use it on areas that's needed. If you don't need coverage all over your face, just cover up patches, blemishes and underneath the eyes. With a makeup brush-dip it in a little baby powder. That's the best powder to use to cut out the shine. Your skin will glow.
Put a little on your hand (your palm, whatever) and use your other hand to apply, using fingertips. Take a little on the tip of your index or middle finger and 'dot' around the places that need it most (ie. under your eyes, around your nose, forehead). Then use your fingers to blend but DON'T rub because that will make the cover uneven. It's a little hard to explain without showing it but you need to use a small 'patting' motion with your finger to blend the foundation in order to get good cover
I always dilute it with water in the palm of my hand. Then I apply it with a damp sponge to my face, after moisturizing.

The foundation dries in a jiffy, and looks more natural.
