Is mac stick foundation the same as the liquid foundation?

I recently bought a mac studio stick foundation in NC43 and I wanted to know if I would still have the same number, NC43 in the liquid foundation? Or would it be different? ThanksIs mac stick foundation the same as the liquid foundation?

I don't own those two products, but I do own MAC studio fix. If I do remember correctly all of the colours for skins tones don't change in any of their foundation products.
