I prefer a brush. But it really depends on what works best for you. Try both and see which one gives you the results you are looking for.Is it better to apply liquid foundation with a foundation brush or wedges?
I'm a recent convert to brushes. I got a much smoother effect with a brush, and kept the wedge to hand for the creases like my nose.
I have a very old fashioned foundation by ';Leichner';, it's the stuff they used to use on old movies. It's in a pot and it's quite thick, and needs powder to ';set'; it, but my skin stays in great condition for days after I've used it.
When I use my leichner brand, I always have a brush. Is it better to apply liquid foundation with a foundation brush or wedges?
it depends on how much your putting on, if you only need shear coverage, use your hands because you can manage how much goes where on your face easier. If you need heavy coverage use a wedge because you will get a more deeper coverage with it.
I use my fingers.
It controls the amount of foundation better.
Plus, when I use anything else,
it's really cake-y.
I have Neutrogean Skin Clearing foundation,
it's anti-bacterial.
Apply liquid foundation with a wedge, and then a powder on top with a brush to help make the foundation last longer.
I mostly end up starting low end and sampling several types. Do what fits your situation and I bet your instinct will be right.
I prefer wedges.I have a foundation brush from MAC and I never use it.It comes out kind of streaky but maybe its just the way I do it.
