To spot clean your brushes you can us baby wipes and simply gently wipe your brush back and forth.

I hope that helps. How do you clean liquid foundation off a makeup brush ?
I would put shampoo on it. But don't rub it too hard and also don't put it right up to the root as it will stay there and ruin your face.
Shampooo is fine
easy rinse off by the tap lather it in shampoo that you use and then leave it in warm water to get rid of the soap

don't forget to shape it back to its original shape and leave it to dry
Shampoo is the best thing-
Take Baby Oil, and rub it.. Then Rinse with water, and let dry.. Promise this will help!!!!
Use baby shampoo or buy a brush cleaning liquid.
Just use shampoo. lather it into the brush and then wash it out. repeat this for a super soft brush :)
You want to run it under hot water. You dont want to use anything to harsh on it, you want to use a gentle cleaner something like either a gently facewash, or liquid soap. Then was it out with cold water, make sure you clean it until the water becomes clear. You should also probably clean it every 5-7 days because of the build up. It can clog your pores.
you can get brush cleaner at about any drug store...it is also very cheap...it will be better to buy the solution instead of ruining your brush with something not meant for makeup brushes
water and baby shampoo
use any kind of brush cleaner, not only do they sell them at sephora and mac, but also at many drug stores. u can use shampoo as well but remember to use conditioner to keep the bristles soft. (serious) the bristles will not fall out if you have a good quality brush. rinse the brush under warm to hot running water until the water runs clear. you might want to also sweep the brush back and forth on a clean rag to help small particles of dried up make up come out. good luck.
baby shampoo
just use soap or shampoo with warm water

sometimes it takes a while and you have to wash it more than once
you wash it..

use either baby shampoo or a mild soap because others are too harsh. or, obviously, buy a brush cleanser. then you use lather the soap or whatever in your hand and rub the brush around in it.

dont be too harsh because you dont want to ruin your brush.

then let it dry overnight and its as good as new :)
use mild soap and warm water or try a cleansing solution for brushes. you can buy those at Ulta or Sephora.
You can use a shampoo or Cetaphil to deep clean your brushes every 1-2 weeks, but to spot clean (so you don't get acne from bacteria) you can buy a brush cleanser that is alcohol based (such as MAC brush cleanser or one I got from Sally's... not sure what that one is called, but it was only $6).

When you deep clean, either lay the brushes flat or find a way to hang them upside down. Don't use a hair dryer to speed up the drying process because that could shorten the life of your brushes.
Cuticura ( hand hygiene gel) and some cleanser
Baby Shampoo.
I usually end up beginning low end and using a few different ones. Do what seems right and Im pretty sure your instinct will be right.

Go to M.A.C or Sephora (I think Sephora is better - its actually cheaper), and pick up some brush shampoo. The one I bought at Sephora was only 12.50 - it was Sephora brand. Wash your brushes with the shampoo, then reshape them using a Kleenex. The Kleenex also helps get rid of extra moisture. Make sure you lie your brush flat to dry! Don't put it away in a case or stand it up. I made the mistake of standing it up and it did not dry properly at all.

Also, if you decide not to use the brush shampoo just rinse your brush under warm water. DO NOT use actual shampoo or hand soap on a daily basis. It is too harsh and will cause the bristles to start falling out. You should only use shampoo once a month.

Good luck!
Johnson's Baby Shampoo is my favorite. Its kind to the bristles. But DO NOT get it in the metal bit in the brush because your bristles will fall out. I only use the shampoo when I'm doing a deep clean, if I need just a quick clean I use MAC Brush Cleanser
baby shampoo works great

note:

don't use harsh abrasive soap.

only certain gentle soaps work, or they ruin the quality of your brush.

shape with your hands, and don't be too harsh when lathering.

(dont forget to shape the brush when you are done)

Dry with a paper towel.

Don't dry with a kleenex or all the little white fibres inside it will get all over your brush.
