What's the difference between a powder foundation & a liquid one?

%26amp; how do I know which 1 is right for me? Or do I need both? What's the difference between a powder foundation %26amp; a liquid one?
Liquid foundation generally provides more coverage. You don't need ';powder foundation'; too but you should use some type of translucent powder to set your liquid foundation so it stays in place and stays on longer. What's the difference between a powder foundation %26amp; a liquid one?
powder is powder and liquid is liquid....I use the powder foundation. One reason is because I have less breakouts with that. It does not clog your pores like liquid foundation. The next reason is because when it is really hot, your makeup does not clump up on your face leaving it looking oily like the liquid foundation. and you can use concealer to cover up blemishes on your face. You do not need both.
Your question is actually the answer.

A powder one is made of Powder and it will change the colors of your face.

A liquid is a liquid but also could be a rub-in substance is better if you have acne or want to remove blemishes. usually you would apply the liquid one first and the powder one next.
There are a variety of powder and liquid foundations.

Your skin type will determine which foundation is best for you. If you have dry skin, opt for a liquid foundation and set it with a light powder. The powder will keep the product from wearing off during the day.

If you have oily skin, you can use either a liquid or cream foundation intended for oily skin, or a powder. A powder will help soak up excess oil, which can definitely be helpful to oily skin.

You definitely don't need both types of foundation, just determine which is right for you by your skin type.
Powder foundation is essentially made from loose particles. Liquid foundation is a liquid formula. Some people may say that powder foundation doesn't have as much coverage as liquid, but that isn't true. If you find a good brand of powder foundation, you could get the exact same coverage as a liquid foundation.

Powder foundation is lightweight, and it doesn't clog your pores like most liquid foundations can. Liquid foundation does have more coverage most of the time, but like I said, powder can cover imperfections just as easily. Liquid foundation is good for masking pimples or discoloration on the skin. Powder foundation is good for those hot days when liquid foundation would melt off your skin.

You have to decide what you like. If you go with powder foundation, you should get the shade that matches your skin tone and then a translucent powder to set the foundation. If you go with liquid foundation, you'll still need a translucent powder to set the foundation, just like powder.

Hope I helped.
A powder foundation has less coverage than a liquid foundation. A liquid foundation is better for covering pimples and freckles. you don't need both foundations but if you want more coverage I would definitely recommend the liquid foundation
It depends on preference.

Some do not like the feel of liquids, and others do not like the feel of powders.

It also depends on coverage.

Liquids tend to offer more coverage, but powders can offer excellent coverage as well.

Neither is ';right';. Just choose according to preference.

It also depends on skin type. Some people with oily skin tend to find liquids are too difficult to work with, while girls with dry skin work well with liquids.

So go to a store, and try some out. Buy things and if you like them, keep them. If you don't, return them (be sure to ask about the return policy first)

If you wear liquid foundation, it's best to set it with a loose powder (not powder foundation. A setting powder.) and if you are wearing powder foundation, you do not need to set it.
