I use powder right now, but im to scared to try liquid thinking it might be to thick/expensive/fake lookingWhats the difference between powder foundation and liquid? Whats better?
liquid and powder are different types of foundation for different types of skin
for example, if you have oily skin, liquid probably won't work well for you because it'll melt right off as your face gets oilier thruout the day. powder is better for oily skin because it absorbs it and makes your face look a little more matte
i have dry/combination skin, so i use a liquid, which needs to be set with a powder. some types are thicker than others, some types are super smooth. lemme know if you need instuctions on how to apply liquid flawlessly
if you want something super quick and easy, don't forget about a tinted moiturizer which gives light coverageWhats the difference between powder foundation and liquid? Whats better?
Powder foundation will give you a matte look (best for oily skin), while liquid foundation will give you a dewy look (best for dry skin).
Powders usually provide heavier coverage than liquid does.
If you're afraid of a thick or ';fake'; look, try a tinted moisturizer. Revlon Age Defying Light Makeup is a great choice, and it's inexpensive.
Don't be afraid to experiment and try new products, that's the best way to find what's perfect for YOUR skin. Hope this helps :)
liquid is better if you want more coverage (if you have scars blemishes and other stuff) and powder is a lighter coverage and it doenst feel like you are wearing makeup but some powders do have good coverage.
i like liquid best because i do have blemishes : ] if you do go with liquid dont use alot and make sure its your color cause i notice alot of girls whose foundation doenst match and it lasts a good amount of time
i think both of them stink to be honest...both always looked cakey, or didnt cover well, and broke out my skin. i started using Dinair Airbrush Makeup 2 years ago and its awesome because its all water based so its natural looking, super light weight, and its not bad for ur skin. It stays on all day. It makes my skin look flawless. Anywho if u goggle Dinair you'll find their site. Hope i helped answer ur question.
well sometimes liquid can clog pores and cause acne. i use powder because it looks smoothe and natural. but my sister uses liquid and i kinda looks cakey and she breaksout a lot and i dont. and she is 6 years older than me.
Powder is better. It goes on smoothly and it doesn't leave a mask on your face. Liquids smell weird and feel cakey on your skin. The best powder foundation that i would recommend is Bare Naturale by Loreal Paris. It's great.
:)
i actually use both but i think liquid is better
and i dont think it looks fake or thick
