For me. I pat it lightly with my fingers. For professional makeup artist, they use the triangular type of sponge and slowly pat and dab. Some ladies use makeup brushes with a flat rectangular end to brush it evenly.Whats the best way to apply liquid foundation?
put it in a big bucket

the shove ur face in but suck ur lips in and close ur eyes. then apply eye shadow etc.
Moisturise your skin, dot foundation around your face (forhead, nose lips, chin) and put a little on your neck.


Blend it with one of those make-up sponge things or your fingertips, depending on which is easiest for you. You could also use a brush but I find that it makes it harder to even it all out. Make sure to cover your whole face and blend it under your chin so it doesn't look strange.


Set it with powder.
with your fingers, clean though, just dab on each cheek, forehead, chin and nose and blend gently your hands can rub it in so it doesn't become to thick and clumpy,

APPLY liquid foundation (forehead-chin, downward strokes to prevent clogging pores, but if you are using pore-friendly foundation, well and good, just go any ways..)

powder, always finish with a POWDER
I always put moisturizer in my palm then some liquid foundation then apply using a sponge applicator or with your fingers
with clean hands moisterize ya face then wipe thne moisterizer off then apply with ya hands xx happy xx
Get a foundation brush


looks the same as a blush brush but has a rounded shape at the stop


or the easier and cheaper one is get some foundation sponges


you can get loads in a pack.
don't use a sponge. squeeze it onto your fingers, and apply from there. then, so it doesn't look to wet/shiny/greasy, put a pressed powder over it.
put some into the palm of your hand and then use a sponge and dip the sponge it it and dap it on your face at first then use a clean sponge and wipe it to make it go across the skin

Not really sure what I would recommend to you. There are so many products out there so what I end up doing is starting cheap and trying out several products.This is a good review website at http://www.brandsmakeup.com visit and look around at the reviews.
With a sponge applicator, use a good one though, cheap is not best for this product!
