Can I use liquid concealer and liquid foundation?

Can I use both as liquid? Is powder foundation better then liquid foundation? What do I do with primer?


how can I keep them on my face, I sweat sometimes.

Start with a good moisturizer - that's always step #1!





You don't always need a primer, but if you will be out and about for long hours then wearing a primer will help your make-up stay put. Put the primer on after you moisturize your face (BEFORE you put on foundation). Allow your primer to set anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes.





Then apply your foundation. A liquid foundation is what I recommend most. Pick one that is medium to full coverage - and almost every liquid foundation has buildable coverage (meaning you can add more to areas that may need more attention).





Next apply concealer to areas you need it. You always want to apply concealer AFTER foundation because if you chose a good foundation you may not need as much concealer. You can use a liquid concealer, but I find a cream concealer works best. Just be sure to pick a concealer that is closest to your actual foundation color. Other color concealers, ';color correctors';, work for specific issues. Such as applying green to red areas (like blemishes). Just be sure to top that green with your regular color concealer!! Yellow is also great for correct dark circles (again, just be sure to top that with your regular color concealer or foundation).





Then you're ready to set your foundation with a powder - either a transulcent setting powder or setting powder that is the same color as your foundation. This step isn't always needed, but if you sweat a lot the powder will be helpful in soaking up the oils from your skin. I personally love Smashbox's Halo powder - it's great to wear alone on days I'm just running a quick errand or will be hanging around the house, but it makes for a fantastic setting powder and is great for touch-ups!





Then you can do the rest of your beauty routine (blush, brows, eyes, lips).

You can absolutely wear liquid foundation and liquid concealer, in fact that should look pretty natural. Powder foundation and liquid foundation are both great products, but generally, if you have oily skin powder foundation is better for you and if you have dry skin liquid foundation is better for you. If you have normal skin, go for either one. Primer is a product that you put on to help makeup stay on longer, (foundation primer makes foundation stay on longer, eyeshadow primer makes eye shadow stay on longer, etc.) And if you sweat a lot, bring some tissue to dab away the sweat and a powder compact to touch up your makeup.
