NO, I don't. But I don't see how a liquid would work , unless what they're using is absolutley pure - that means not a trace of petroleum or bismuth.

Concealer goes on 2nd. Girlfriend. The concealer should be lighter because you're putting it on darker things (saggy eyes, pimples, etc.....). And if there's only -1- color concealer to choose from.. I think it's time to seek another line of makeup.

I think you're supposed to put foundation on first, then concealer. Because foundation can cover imperfections, so you have less to cover up when you apply concealer. Hope that makes sense and helps
I put on concealer first, then foundation. And then after foundation if you find that you need a little more then add a touch or two.

If you have a history of clogged pores and break outs, liquid foundation probably isn't for you. Unless you get a non-comedogenic foundation.

Liquid foundation is good for people with dry skin

If you have oily skin I recommend a powder foundation like Bare Minerals or some other kind of mineral make up.

yes, some ppl break out, others ppl's skin doesn't change at all. it just depends on your personal skin type

foundation can be good for your skin because some are medicated and others contain sunscreen. the most important thing is to remember to wash off every night and only apply to a clean face in the morning

yes it causes breakouts and your skin to look all wrinkly when ur young and people think ur 10 years older then u really are so I recommend Mineral Powder Foundation, It works better and puts healthy minerals in your skin and people think you're younger instead

yes there is.. Mary Kay has a full coverage foundation specifically formulated for dry skin with no spf in it. Then also have patented skin care for normal/dry and combo/oily skin. Let me know if you need help...

try Maybelline wonder finish. i find it gr8 for a combination skin. I use it with a bit of moisturiser. If you have oily skin use it alone. It doesnt flake or make the skin oily, is light and nice. good coverage too.
I'm sure you have Max Factor in Singapore so go buy the Silk Perfection from Max Factor. It's a cream foundation that appears matte on face, therefore it won't flake. The best thing about it is that, it's oil-free so you won't get acne from it!
For a cheaper brand, I recommend L'Oreal True Match foundation. It's very natural looking and is not caking or flakey. It stays on and my skin never gets oily when I use it.

If you were looking for a Sephora type foundation, go with Clinque Perfect Match foundation or Benefit Cosmetics ';Some-Kinda-Gorgeous';... they both work great!

Yeah you can. People do that all the time. Moisturizer first, then the liquid foundation of course. The SPF should stay the same.
Of course you can! Just make sure the foundation is non-oily and the moisturizer is of SPF base. Don't mix too much in it though! And it won't throw off your SPF.

Try Mary Kay. You should either use Medium Coverage for oily or combination skin or Full Coverage for dry to normal skin. There is also a wonderful tinted moisturizer with SPF 20.

Stick Foundations are bad for your skin.

Each time you use it, it builds up more and more bacteria.

I would stick with Liquid Foundation.

The best liquid foundation I ever used is Mac Foundation.

The stick ';normally'; has more coverage. I would go with the stick to cover scars. You could go with both. Use the stick as a concealer and then apply the liquid everywhere else.
Liquid foundation offers the best coverage...Use a light powder to finish so your face doesn't look too oily...Mac has the best foundations, somewhat expensive but totally worth it

To make sure your neck is the same colour as your face it's simple.

When using your foundation go right to the bottom of your chin.

Then once your done with that, and not making yourself look orange, get a large make-up brush.

Then dab some foundation onto the brush make sure you apply the foundation sparingly and dust powder over the top, for a more natural look.

OR

Use your foundation as normal, try using less as this is causing your neck to look a different colour.

You really can't, you just gotta find a foundation thats really close to the same color and it'll look like it matches. Plus usually your face and neck/chest are slightley diff. anyways.

the shove ur face in but suck ur lips in and close ur eyes. then apply eye shadow etc.
Moisturise your skin, dot foundation around your face (forhead, nose lips, chin) and put a little on your neck.

Blend it with one of those make-up sponge things or your fingertips, depending on which is easiest for you. You could also use a brush but I find that it makes it harder to even it all out. Make sure to cover your whole face and blend it under your chin so it doesn't look strange.

Set it with powder.
with your fingers, clean though, just dab on each cheek, forehead, chin and nose and blend gently your hands can rub it in so it doesn't become to thick and clumpy,

you can get loads in a pack.
don't use a sponge. squeeze it onto your fingers, and apply from there. then, so it doesn't look to wet/shiny/greasy, put a pressed powder over it.
put some into the palm of your hand and then use a sponge and dip the sponge it it and dap it on your face at first then use a clean sponge and wipe it to make it go across the skin

I like using the Almay Smart-Shade makeup under my Bare Minerals...that way I get a good medium coverage...individually, they provide a not-so-great light coverage...

It also helps it stick.

I use the Superfit oil-free liquid concealer and it's great.

However, it will not make your face look all matte and non-shiny. But, it will conceal and it won't cause more acne.

Also, have you ever tried Bare Minerals? It's a powder-based foundation but, when I had some terrible break-outs, it worked REALLY well. I only bought the trial sized kit as I don't use it very often. But, when I have terrible break-outs or just want to switch up, I do. Yeah, I wouldn't go with a drug store product. I like Clinique's liquid foundation myself, plus they help find a perfect match for your skin type and tone. I know you are looking for a liquid, but the ID bare minerals powder foundation is the best in my opinion. It is a powder so it dries oily skin, but doesn't overly dry skin. Plus, it doesn't clog pores so it won't break you out. You can controll the coverage you want based on how much you apply.
Well I personally use a nice natural clinique foundation, but that's not for everyone why not go around with your mum and tell her what you want shop around a bit and ask the ladies at the counter what they would recomend for your skin and tone ect you should also try some conceler for under your eyes rather than fondation cus using foundation there makes you look tired and your eyes look dark. One thing remember to take it of at night!

it depends on the foundation. most use oils, bismuth and talc. these will clog pores and make the oils worse.

if you want the best liquid foundation get the liquid minerals from bee luscious. it has none of these and looks super natural. i love this and cant stop raving about it. just go to their website and order some samples.
Get the Liquid Minerals from Bee Luscious. It will work and really help with your oily skin. I would also suggest their Papaya Foam Cleanser and Pore Perfecting Face Primer.
If it is mattifying then yes, oil free foundations that are liquid are easy to find. Powder is good too as it isn't oily and won't grease up the skin =]

I would do a test to see if your face is oily within the same amount of time without the foundation (just the base).

If you have oily skin you not be using moisture cream because it is for a dry skin, cream products sometime have more oil in the makeup of the product. I think that the Revlon colorstay has a oil base to it and if you use it you may need to finish your foundation with powder to help seal it. make sure both the moisturizer AND the foundation are oil free. If it doesn't say ';oil free'; on the bottle it probably isn't. I dont think that either of them are. So your skin may be able to handle the oil in the foundation but not the possible oil in the moisturizer. It is getting warm which causes makeup with oil to kinda melt so that may be the problem too. If all else fails or you just dont want to switch makeup, dust on a layer of powder to set your makeup.

neutrogena and purpose both have a good oil free moisturizer with sunscreen that is light enough to put on under makeup

I use the revlon foundation and i got the one for oily skin. Do you have that one? If you don't use moisturizer it looks caky so you should use it. I use some moisturizer from clinique its pretty expensive though.
yes, just make sure to powder over your foundation after you're done, it will stop it from being oily during the day.

You can find a match testing foundation on the side of the jaw. Check in mirror to see how blends with skin tone. Try using concealer on cheeks under foundation. Always blend really well. All the best.
There are many foundations out in the market but, there are some things you need to consider when buying foundation. Like your skin type, for example; is it oily, dry or tzone which is a combination of both. I personally have always like the cream foundation from Victoria Secret. It doesn't seem to dry your skin and looks natural.
to conceal your rosy cheeks, don't go for a cakey or heavy ';full coverage foundation,'; just mix a little bit of a green or yellow tinted concealer (MAC Cosmetics makes some grat ones) with your moisturizer until the redness goes down, then apply your favorite foundation on top.

This foundation is so great because its longwearing but it also maintains a very natural look. But be sure to wear a moisturizer under it, so it won't dry your face out. Besides, a moisturizer makes your foundation go on smoother. Foundation brushes allow you to use less of your foundation for an even finish. Lancome has a great one.

I'm not sure...but i use Dinair Airbrush Makeup and i know you don't have to wear anything but the airbrush makeup. I use it as my foundation/concealer, blush, eyeshadow and bronzer. Like mentioned before, Revlon Colorstay. Another one is Maybelline's Mineral Power. It comes in liquid and powdered, if you wanna try it out.

Since you stated that tinted moisturizers are hard to find, there's Neutrogena. They have very good tinted moisturizers with SPF 20-35. You could check those out, since they're about $8-$10 depending on where you buy them.

What do I do to eliminate or control excess oil and shine? I use plain ordinary 'Dove' soap and warm water. I developed a severe allergy to Zest - probably because of the fragrance element. Many of we males also take pride in our appearance and don't want to be smudging oil on or against our S.O. or young female relatives. Liquid foundation is horrible for your skin. If you have a dry spot, just use moisturizer on it. Powder works way better for oily skin. I also use bareminerals and if you try it, I think you will love it. I have been using it for a short time, but I already notice a difference in my skin. It is pricey, so if you are looking for a cheaper alternative, try out Physicians formula mineral makeup. I also really like it and its ALOT cheaper.
I have oily skin also and I wore liquid foundation for 10 years because I thought it was the best as far as coverage and DID NOT EVER want to switch. However, I was introduced to Bare Minerals about a year and a half ago and I swear by it. My pores don't clog near as much, have way fewer problems with blemishes and my face no longer takes on that horrible shiny sheen after just an hour of makeup wear. Plus! I get great coverage! Stay away from the liquid stuff, girl

P.S. The Minerals are generally more expensive, but they also last WAY longer. Small price to pay for healthier skin.
No foundation is good for your skin, but as long as you take it off properly in the evening and prep your skin before you wont harm your skin at all. the price of the foundation doesnt really make much difference to how good it is for your skin, it really makes more difference to the color and quality. I'd say do for a brand like MAC, Clinique or Chanel as they are all good quality and will last you all day
Yes and no.

The old liquid foundation and the cheaper liquid foundation (like the $12 one) will clog pores because they contain oils. BUT the cheap mineral foundation also clog pores because they contain bismuth or talc as fillers. I know it seems expensive but I use the Bee Luscious Liquid Minerals because it is the best of both worlds.

Well it depends on your skin type. If you have oily skin, the foundation is more likely to come right off.

For a natural look, I use Revlon ColorStay for Normal/Dry skin. I think it's about $25.

I find it really good, and I mix it at times with some of those shimmer creams, and it really makes my skin seem radiant. To stop it smudging off, try sealing it with a loose powder applied with a blush brush. I find using a foundation brush, it's too heavy. I use Physicians Formula for uneven skin tone, and a Manicare blush brush.

Storing makeup in the refrigerator can give you a temp. difference that will make application easier. It will also last longer.

Also, just to make sure you don't get alot of bacteria, whenever possible, do not re-use applicators - a fresh one each time will reduce the amount of bacteria you put into the makeup container.

It depends on your skin type. Clinique is really good and so is MAC. Go to Macys or Nordstrom and look at different brands and ask a sales associate to help you.

Honestly, people are going to say MAC and I think they have the worst foundation. The best in my opinion is Make Up For Ever. You need very little and it definitely goes a long way. Also some of their concealers have ingredients that help clear acne. Make Up For Ever was MAC before MAC was MAC and MAC should have taken some tips from Make Up For Ever before they branched off to do their own thing. MAC is cheaper but Make Up For Ever is worth the 35-40 dollars you will pay. I have tried every type of make up, every brand, every type of foundation and I have never found a foundation like Make Up Forever. I was using the Mat Velvet which is amazing and I just started using the HD foundation, which is also amazing! I am not one of those people that has to spend a ridiculous amount on makeup but when it comes to foundation I am willing to spend a little more. I honestly can't say enough good things about Make Up For Ever. But it does go on great with the MAC 187 stippling brush.

I keep both types of foundation around, because sometimes I just want a light, more natural look. The powder foundation I use is Bare Minerals from Bare Essentials. It is a breeze to apply (I can be done with my make up in a matter of minutes) and I love the coverage. It is light and sheer and I swear since I started using it, I have had a significant reduction in break-outs on my face.

If you live near an Ulta Store, they sell a Bare Minerals starter kit that comes with everything you need to get started. It is a pretty good deal than buying the pieces individually and it comes with brushes too. Good luck.

Powder foundation will sit in your skin pores better making it look more natural and less shiny. Liquid foundation just covers imperfects straight over however depending on your skin type it may make your skin look shinny and less natural

use a good highly pigmented foundation that matches your skin tone and apply with a sponge only to spots that you need it very lightly.

I recomend putting a bit on the back of your hand and work it into the sponge before applying to you face.

you end up using alot less makeup because it has less filler in it, I don't recomend powder foundation unless you have perfect skin and just need to nix the shine, because if you use enough to cover any redness you will look powdery in natural light.

I use something called ';Color Science';, its powder form and you apply with a fine brush, its light, gives skin a nice color and covers, but does not look like you have makeup on at all! I warn you, it is costly.. but one tube will last at least a year!

I've never used any of those skin matching kind of foundations. But, if you have seen that one with Jessica Alba in it, that's the Revlon Skin Matching Makeup. And if you have seen that other one with a blond girl in it, that's the Almay Smart Shade foundation.
Almay smart shade and Revlon has one too. They both also have extras that go with them and work just like them (aka blush, concealer, etc)
i think it's Almay Color Smart or something. I've heard that it doesn't have really good coverage, but some people really like it.

I agree with the other posters on the MAC 187 foundation fiber optic/skunk brush. You can find a brush that was duped to be just like this one at Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics. It's about half the cost and just fabulous! It gives a completely airbrushed and flawless finish. =)

For liquid foundation, I'd recommend either Jane Iredale's Liquid Minerals -or- Lumiere's Cashmere (mineral powder w/ added silk powder) foundation mixed in with either your favorite moisturizer, natural aloe vera gel (Aubrey Organics has the best), water or any natural mist %26amp; to only a thin consistency (thinner than lotion). You will be amazed on how well either of these and the DUO fiber optic (MAC 187 dupe) work together.
Use a foundation brush. You can smooth or pat it on to get the desired effect. Stippling brushes also work (MAC 187).
i remeber when i had liquid foundation... anywayz what i did was i just put a little dab on my hand and it covered my whole side of my face and it didn't look like i had any on... but it did cover up some zits i had... so the goal is to look like u don't have it on but u actually do...
oh i forgot because you have oily to normal skin ... if your looking for the most natural looking coverage try Sue Devitt 70 water foundation... it is not only a foundation it has treatment benefits also vitamins A,C,E, Chamomile it helps to balance out the ph in the skin... you know you still have to use skin care products... but the finish is very natural and you can build the coverage to full just by your techniques... the stippling brush like i mention above

i didn't know Rimmel had a liquid mineral, i know they have just brought out a powder. Maybelline have a mineral liquid foundation, and you can do what you want with make-up theres no right or wrong way to use it, as long as you get the desired look, but yeah they're meant to be used on their own, but if you feel the coverage isnt that great put powder over it. its up 2 you!
i would suggest a mineral powder. lots of brands have them, i'm not sure why rimmel wouldn't if they offer a liquid mineral foundation. i know for a fact cover girl has mineral powder. it's nice because it has a bit of shimmer to it, which gives your skin a nice glow.
i use mineral powder foundation and its the best, i didnt know they had a liquid type and agree it seems abit wierd they would want you to put the powder one over the liquid one unless the powder one is just setting powder.

Does max factor liquid illusion foundation make you break out?

i want answers from those who have tried using it. i bought miracle touch liquid illusion foundation by max factor the other day. so far, i didn't break out though, but i don't know with continued use. as of now, i liked it coz it gives me the perfect glow. dewy-looking. but i'm afraid it may cause acne coz it doesn't say it's non-comedogenic.

I've bought this a few times- my only problem is it runs out fast.

Liquid foundations usually last me months but not this because it's sort of compact.

But, the answer you are really wanting is no. I have very sensitive skin and i've been trying to search for a liquid foundation that doesn't break me out. But this one never gave me any problems.

Everybody has different skin types so it depends on what kind of skin you have...here's an example...what makes me break out might not make you break out... hope this helps

PLEASE stick with mineral foundation. If you have sensitive skin, mineral makeup is your best bet. Liquid foundation will clog your pores and lead to more breakouts. Then you'll have to use more liquid foundation to cover up pimples, thus beginning an endless cycle. If the makeup you're using now doesn't provide you with enough coverage, try a different mineral makeup. There are tons of mineral makeup websites online that offer free samples and contain no parabens or bismuth oxychloride (the stuff in bare minerals that causes some people's face to itch when they sweat.) I love coastalscents.com for their mineral foundation, and they have some great eyeshadows, blushes, and makeup brushes, too. They also send a free sample with every order. Ask your mom if she'll help you order online, or if you have to do it yourself, go to the gas station or grocery store and get a money order for the exact amount of your makeup order. I wish I had never started using liquid makeup, it broke me out horribly when I was younger and now I have scars because of it.

Well it depends because if you live in America one you just sweat it of and two some people say it's too young but in the UK that's a different story maybe you should start wearing a little and build up and see peoples reactions but make sure it's not orange and streaky and if you make sure to wash your face thourghly befor and after and if it's a trusted and for sensitive skin you shouldn't break out :) but I would also recommend wearing powder on top so you don't look shiny :)
I too, wear Bare Minerals. I would keep using that. Liquid foundation makes your face break out and it makes it look more obvious that you are wearing makeup. If you think that liquid makeup would help your problem, I would give it a try, but I don't know how much of redness liquid foundation could reduce.

i dont think u should be wearing foundation at all at ur age, particulary if u dont get many spots either, a nice blusher should be enough for young skin like urs.

Really before you try mineral foundation access if you actually need it. If your complexion is dry, then mineral makeup may not be for you.

If you have oily skin mineral makeup is an awesome option.

L'Oreal has the bare naturale collection, which in my opinion sucks horrid booty. I don't like the shades and it has talc in it. Ew.

A cheap, safer option is physician's formula. It's very mild and doesn't irritate the face at all. It's pretty nice for what you pay for.

I use Everyday Minerals, and it's wonderful for my skin. It leaves it with a very healthy glow, and there's a ton of shades to choose from. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Liquid foundation clogs your pores. My mom told me when I was younger not to wear liquit foundation because she did when she was younger and her pores are HUGE. Like HUGEEEE. I've listened so far and just use a light powder bronzer and do a quick dust on my face. I haven't had problems with acne and my skin is still pretty amazing for being 22.
Yes, Loreal has a mineral foundation. It was like 11 bucks when I bought mine. I hope you're not as light skinned as I am. The lightest shade was too dark for me. :(

liquid covers your face from blemishes and powder gets rid of grease, especially around the nose area.

The best way to put it on is to put the liquid on first then the powder, after the liquid is dry.

I use Maybelle dream matt mouse foundation and then the Maybelle powder.

It has a lot to do with preference. Liquid tends to feel a little heavier and provides a thicker, more FULL coverage. liquid looks more natural and pretty. smooth and blush is easier to apply, because the damp-ness of the skin attracts the powdery blush. makes it stay on longer.

sometimes when I apply liquid foundation, I use a little bit powder to just SET on the make up. it works good.

but generally: I'd recommend liquid. (for flawless coverage and a more natural smooth look)

If I'm trying a new brand of foundation, I always wait until they have a buy one get one free promotion. Either CVS or Walgreens is bound to have any given brand on bogo at least one week out of the month, just check around. The reason I suggest this method, is that you will most likely miss a few times before you get the perfect shade. The only way you will know is to put the foundation on your skin and look at it in daylight. That's the downside of purchasing at a drugstore over a department store where they let you try the products out.How can you really know what shade of liquid foundation @ target?
You need to go into a shop which has testers and, ideally, try a little on the lower part of your face to see if it matches your face and neck.

If you can't do that then the inside of your wrist is the closest match to your skin. Also, if you want to try a lipcolour, the inside tip of your finger is closer to your lips than using the back of your hand.
find out their return policy, some targets in my area will take makeup back. Otherwise you need to find a place with testers or a place that has a good return policy on makeup like walgreens or rite aid.

I have been using Bare Escentuals minerals, and they're pretty nice but I don't like how it looks all cakey on my face. I've tried NC15 MAC foundation and it looked nice, but I wonder if it'll make me break out after awhile (and if it's worth the expense)

I don't think you're going to get the real stuff much cheaper than that. Except on Ebay - possibly. If you're still not willing to pay that price, I suggest you find a comprimise, there are other good ones out there too for a cheaper price.. Try your local drugs store... (Sorry, I can't suggest any, I live in England - may be Walmart?!)

liquid and powder are different types of foundation for different types of skin

for example, if you have oily skin, liquid probably won't work well for you because it'll melt right off as your face gets oilier thruout the day. powder is better for oily skin because it absorbs it and makes your face look a little more matte

i have dry/combination skin, so i use a liquid, which needs to be set with a powder. some types are thicker than others, some types are super smooth. lemme know if you need instuctions on how to apply liquid flawlessly

i think both of them stink to be honest...both always looked cakey, or didnt cover well, and broke out my skin. i started using Dinair Airbrush Makeup 2 years ago and its awesome because its all water based so its natural looking, super light weight, and its not bad for ur skin. It stays on all day. It makes my skin look flawless. Anywho if u goggle Dinair you'll find their site. Hope i helped answer ur question.
well sometimes liquid can clog pores and cause acne. i use powder because it looks smoothe and natural. but my sister uses liquid and i kinda looks cakey and she breaksout a lot and i dont. and she is 6 years older than me.
Powder is better. It goes on smoothly and it doesn't leave a mask on your face. Liquids smell weird and feel cakey on your skin. The best powder foundation that i would recommend is Bare Naturale by Loreal Paris. It's great.
