When i apply liquid foundation i go orange .. HELP what should i do ??

I normally apply laval liquid foundation with a make up pad but i always go orange what should i do to make myself not go orange ?!?!When i apply liquid foundation i go orange .. HELP what should i do ??
L'Oreal has a True Match makeup line, that is sectioned of into 3 different skin undertone types-- yellow, rosy and neutral. Try holding the clear sheet up to your face (not on it, because it harbors bacteria), and see which shade disappears with your skin. Once you've found your match in foundation, they also have coordinating powders, concealers and blushes. This should solve your ';orange'; problem. Never buy any foundation that does not match your skin tone; it will never look right. When i apply liquid foundation i go orange .. HELP what should i do ??
get a lighter shade maybe?! n not put so much on too
I dont know where you live, but go to Sephora if you have one, or go to your local department store's make up counter and they will try colors on you until youve found the right one.

I am going to suggest Bare Minerals....it is good for your skin, and if applied correctly (not too much!) it blends in very nicely, but too much of it can cause the orange look.

good luck.
Never use liquid! Powder works the best...except on zits and stuff like that.
next time you purchase foundation, get the make-specialist to come over and help you find your perfect shade! this is usually free :)
Well its not what you apply it with, when i started wearing foundation there were 2 things making me orange. For one i was wearing the wrong colour, perhaps you could go where you get your foundation and ask about the right colour for you. Another reason could be that you put too much on the pad ... try putting it directly onto your face in small blobs over your face, and then blending them over your skin. It also helps someimes to puty a lighter colour face powdeer over the foundation.
Well before you buy liquid foundation try to put it first.
liquid might not b for u try pouder .....

oh and r u using your moms stuff cuz thats what usually happens...kids use their moms stuff and after wearing it realize that their mom and them r not the same shade

so try going to a tip top makeup shop ( like mac ) and ask for some help.....you will find the right stuff for u!

xx
for foundation you should use the most similiar shade to your own skin. if you still go orange try a different make or apply less. hope that helps :]
you need to get the right shade for your skin tone
go to a makeup place or dept. in a store

sephora and macy's are recommended

and ask them which foundation would best suit your face

they are very helpful!! they got the exact skin tone that matches my face!! im so happy with them!!
It seems you have picked the wrong shade to go with if it 'turns orange', it's probley way to dark for your skin color even though they say to go one shade darker than your skin tone.. If liquid foundation isn't working for you theres always bare minerals and powder foundation and such which shouldn't turn you orange.
use the right shade lol... try powder..
dont use as much ^^
Well, maybe you should try and get a different foundation because the foundation that you are using may be too dark for you.
Finding the right color is the obvious answer, but something you may not know is that you have to scrub...up your exfoliation because dead skin will turn orange with foundation and self tanner. Secondly make sure that you go with neutral undertones which will help to keep it true to color.

You may find that you should invest in a foundation from a cosmetic line because they will match you and work with you to make sure that you are using the right skincare.
Change the colour foundation you are using to one that has no orange tones in it.
Unless you have the lightest of light skin or olive skin, you should be using a foundation with a yellow base. no pinks! I use mary kay and i know that the foudations are like 200, 202, 204, 300...etc. so in mary kay the ones ending in -00 are the ones that look best on most people. and i think the 04's are for olive skin. maybe ask someone at the makeup desk, or keep trying. i will never stop using marykay, as long as it stays like it is.
Try powder i use it its amazing but get a light colour then you can apply more and more but with a darker colour you cant apply less nd less
You need a different shade closer to your ACTUAL skin color hun
don't apply liquid foundation
Well some brands such as clinque has undertones in their foundation, some have an orange tone, some have a beige tone and others have a yellow tone, my suggestion to you is to get fitted for a different color.
