a light liquid foundation is best because it allows your skin to breathe and it looks most natural. a powder foundation all over the face settles into any lines and makes one look older and their skin look wrinkly. only use a powder foundation on top of the light liquid foundation, over the small imperfections like pimples. it helps reduce the redness. you can also dust some on areas of your face that look oily like the forehead. never use powder foundation around the eyes! you will look wrinkly. Hope that helps! Is liquid foundation or powder foundation better, and why?
Many people prefer to start with liquid then put powder on it, but it tends to give them an oily look. I personally prefer to start with powder and get a smooth finish. Liquid evens out your skin, but as I said before it makes your skin look very oily. Powder does not cover as well, but it gives a more natural look. If you already have liquid then I suggest you get powder also to get the advantages of both types with none of the disadvantages (ie. covers well while looking smooth and silky)
Liquid foundation is better in the winter to moisturize your skin.
Powder is generally better in the summer to keep it dry.
If you do the opposite, it's usually fine.. but that's the way I function face makeup - I have a summer set of darker powder, and a winter set of lighter liquid.
Hope that helps (:
I like liquid on bottum and powder on top. This sets the look and makes you not look oily or anything. I do this because I have bad skin and I like to hide it and this does a pretty good job. So really ask yourself... do you want more coverage or less?
Powder will give you less and liquid will give you more. Tinted moistureizer will give you even less and a glowy look.
I would trust powder because liquid may have a tendency to look cakey and they clog your pores more than powder. If you have alot of discoloration, blemishes or freckles you want to conceal then liquid is a more reliable. Good luck!
Powder is WAY better for your skin. Liquid foundation clogs all of your pores which causes pimples it's like wearing another face. While powder foundation just makes a layer over your skin and doesn't clog your pores.
In my opinion powder is way better.(:
both always broke me out so i say neither...i have used Dinair Airbrush Makeup the past 2 years and i LOVE it...it makes my skin look flawless and it all water based so its not bad for ur skin....if u google Dinair you'll find their site. Anywho, i hope i helped...=)
normally people do liquid first then powder on top... but I personally think powder is better cos you don't look like you have oily skin.

Liquid is for full cover w.o that cake look. the powder is actually supposed to be the concealer, to put the ';finishing touches'; on you. I'd say liquid. some days i go w.o the powder.
powder is better for your skin and it looks more natural. Liquid looks smoother but it feels to heavy (in my opinion). So i think the powder is better, but it all depends on your skin and how you put it on.
I don't use liquid foundation because I hate the way it feels. I use mineral powder :)
It's mostly about preference and skin type. Liquid pretty much guarantees a breakout for me but for some they swear by it.
i personaly like liquid becuz it coves your pores better and powder gets every where. and try to get oil free liquid foundation. it doesnt clog your pores as much.
powder definately
liquid- u can actually feel it clogging ur pores (eww gross)
-ppl can actually c it in the bumps in ur skin
-%26amp; it just looks weird
You should really use Tinted Moisturizer because foundation is really aging. But I would say liquid foundation.
i actually prefre liquid foundation more. because i have dry skin and powder makes my face look flaky and liquid is more easier to apply
Powder is better if you have oily skin, but the coverage is not as good as that of liquid foundation.
both have their pros and cons
so why not just get a foundation thats a cream to powder finish or perhaps even the other way around:)
powder foundation because its more natural..better for your skin.
i think liquid, because it is easier to spread around your face, and last longer.
