I have an oily face...what sort of liquid foundation/powder should i use?

I have a really oily face so what sort of liquid foundation and powder do you recommend. The powder and liquid I usually use ends up dissolving after about an hour.I have an oily face...what sort of liquid foundation/powder should i use?
Maybe you should you some sort of treatment on your face...

I found this off a magazine.

L'Oreal Paris Pure Zone Deep Purifying Gel Wash $10.95 (AUD)

Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser $9.99 (AUD)

Hope that helps....I have an oily face...what sort of liquid foundation/powder should i use?
I would suggest getting the oiliness under control first wit a good skincare regimen. It is key in beginning to control the oil in your skin.

I have had great luck with kms mineral essentials. It has controlled oil better for me than the other brands I have tried. I don't impress easily, but this stuff is amazing. My makeup stays on until I take it off late in the evening.
Have you ever hear of Artistry庐? it's the best selling internet makeup and it's warranted or your money back within 180 days. i'll give you the link so you can compare the brands. its

Since you have oily skin, I would recommend forgetting about wearing ANY type of liquid foundation. Liquid will just make your face even more oily, and I find that most people don't look as natural when they wear liquid as they do when they wear a powder foundation. The type of powder foundation that I use is call MAC studio fix http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a> . It gives great coverage, and will take away any shine on your face that is cause by your oily skin. I have also found that it cleared my skin up as opposed to what most foundations do which is make you break out. It also lasts all day, I rarely have to do touch ups. Hope this helps!
well dont use any compacted foundation, oil is used to keep it compact, always use a loose powder and NEVER a liguid cover up. I love bare minerals, try Larenim bare minerals, amazing stuff and it will even clean out your pores without xpanding them
I joke with all my friends that on a hot day you could slap a slice of potato on my cheek and have a chip in no time!

I have ALWAYS been an oil slick. About two years ago, I went to the Clinique counter and began their 3-step skin care system. I went there b/c as a teen my Dr recommended their face soap to me (I had bad acne).

Oh, I'm now in my 30's BTW.

It doesn't matter what type foundation/powder you use - if you don't balance your skin, it will always dissolve within a couple of hours.

I use the Clinique bar soap for oily skin, follow with the #4 clarifying liquid and then Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel - 2 times per day. I also use their Super Fit foundation and set it with loose powder.

Seriously - it has done amazing things for my skin.

When applying liquid foundation w/ a sponge, is it better to wet the sponge?

Yes, this allows the makeup to go on alot smoother and more natural . It wont leave you with any lines or anything like that .

i suggest you wet your sponge from now on When applying liquid foundation w/ a sponge, is it better to wet the sponge?
For a natural light application, you can wet your sponge.

Usually you don't need to, as the sponge is absorbing alll the foundation. So therefore it can give you the same result, but a little thicker. Using a foundation brush, gives a thicker application and better coverage, but its better to use sponge after to blend it out and smooth it out. When applying liquid foundation w/ a sponge, is it better to wet the sponge?
Having the sponge wet may help it to spread more thinly, and more evenly. But I would say to use a brush instead, since sponges are wasteful in terms of it retaining the foundation, they can only be used once, and they soak facial oils up, which actually isn`t good, since soaking up too many of those will cause your skin to get dryer.
i would think that if you wet the sponge your face would look greasier, ps ive tried this. instead of using a sponge period i found the brush of my dreams!!!! wet sponge=baddd not good for greasy skiinnnn

works wonders seriously watch vids on youtube they help

- (teen undercover)
Well, all I know is that; wetting the sponge makes the color of your foundation lighter.

And it has a high chance of making your foundation fade and/or run.

But obviously, you don't wet the sponge completely. Just have it a little moist is fine.
Don't use a sponge. It absorbs and wastes the makup. Use a Foundation Brush or your fingers.
no-

it makes the foundation run

but: make sure you swap sponges often to make sure they are clean
no it will make the foundation runny and won't last.
yeah,

i go over w/ a damp sponge after :]

Do u have to wear mineral powder over liquid foundation?

i have like moderate acne and oily t-zone.

i want to use jane mineral powder... i heard its really good. i want my acne and redness covered.. so would i need to buy a liquid foundation too or can i just wear my daily moisturizer and then sweep the mineral powder and blush?

thank-you!!Do u have to wear mineral powder over liquid foundation?
the liquid foundation covers redness better, I find and the mineral powder helps the liquid stay in place longer.

This is what personally works for me, every face is different, I think you should use a liquid foundation or some sort of concealer type pen to help with the redness. Also make sure you wash all your makeup off at night.Do u have to wear mineral powder over liquid foundation?
Apply a concealer on the red or darkened areas of your skin and then apply an all over mineral foundation. It'll be more natural and won't feel caked on. The answer to your question would be no. You do not HAVE to wear mineral makeup over your foundation. Applying mineral powder over your liquid foundation just finishes the look, kicks back that glossy finish, and makes you look a little more natural. If you like the shiny, been to the beach look, then go with it. I use Sheer Cover makeup and it works good but I prefer the Bare Mineral makeup. Bare Minerals makes a great foundation for wearing alone. They also offer finishing powders with SPF 15 in them. It's a bit expensive but sure beats paying the price for testing foundations. You just brush on the mineral foundation and apply a small amount of finishing powder. Your done. They also offer blushes and mineral eye shadows. I've also tried the AVON brand of mineral makeup. They were great too and are cheap on the price. I'd suggest looking at what they have to offer. I like their mineral bronzer.
You dont have to wear Mineral powder over your foundation.

I do, but thats just me. If you have really Oily skin, then i would before you put on your makeup try washing your face in cold water, pat dry, and then apply, do Not put lotion on your face before your makeup, and to help with your acne, try using a Oil free foundation, lightly apply and then you can go over your face with mineral powder.
i've tried a couple of minerals.. it doesn't cover redness much. I know bare minerals does but I've tried 3 other drug store brands, no.

I wear liquid and powder over it. It helps with the shine and it makes the coverage last longer.

Minerals isn't really good for covering up redness.
If you want better coverage I would still use a liquid foundation over the spots you want covered the most. Then use the mineral powder over it. I love the new mineral products that are coming out now. Good luck!
bare minerals will take care of everything!

  • What is you favorite liquid foundation?

    Max Factor

    Seamless

What is you favorite liquid foundation?
Without a doubt alcohol. When the world is really getting me down or I dont know hwat to do with my time I think falling back on A FEW DRINKS is really the way to go. Most people turn to god or whatever or friends buit even they have thier low points and at times , just dont fulfill in the way I want.

What is you favorite liquid foundation?
MAC studio fix fluid! It really helps especially for Oily face~ :)
I have only tried studio fix fluid by mac, and i love it.!
    Clinique
Revlon Color Stay. Much cheaper than Mac.

Does Mac Studio Fix liquid foundation give good coverage?

What kind of coverage does it give? Dewy, matte?? Also is it full coverage?? And does it make you break out? Anyone here ever use it??Does Mac Studio Fix liquid foundation give good coverage?
I like the powder better, but yes. It does breal me out.Does Mac Studio Fix liquid foundation give good coverage?
matte, medium, doesnt break me out

    the powder is better

Does any one know a really good liquid foundation?!?!?

I have spent so much money on different foundation, even expensive ones but they never seem to work. I hate walking out of the house knowing I look horrible. Can some1 please help me out by telling me a name or some tips?? thanks!Does any one know a really good liquid foundation?!?!?
Here are my favorites. I love them because they don't rub off on clothes, they make pores look smaller, and they last even if I sweat or workout. You don't need an expensive foundation. The ones below work just as well as a $40.00 foundation. Drugstore products are getting better and better.

    1. L'Oreal Infallible

    2. Rimmel Lasting Finish

    3. Revlon ColorStay

    4. Rimmel Cool Matte Mousse

For the best application, use a foundation brush to put on your foundation. Put the foundation on the back of your hand and dab both sides of the bristles into the makeup. Brush the foundation from the center of your face outward, and blend, blend, blend. You will get beautiful, perfect coverage every time, and you won't ever have to touch your face. My favorite foundation brush is the one by Clinique, but you can buy a decent one at the drugstore too.Does any one know a really good liquid foundation?!?!?
i use Chanel Teint Naturel [$57] you only need a little bit, goes on like silk, doesn't look like you're wearing makeup, it covers so well you don't even need powder!

    http://www.macys.com/catalog/product/ind鈥?/a>

definately try to get this if you can, i have sensitive, acne-prone, oily skin, with acne scars and this works like perfection for me :] worth the price!
    i would suggest either:

    Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse or

    Rimmel Cool Matte mousse foundation

they are lightweight and dont feel or look caked on.

they can get a tad bit messy on the fingers so be sure to wash your hands immediately after applying the makeup.
I have really bad Acne and I use a liquid make-up that helps hide the redness it's called: Maybelline Great Wear Make-up. My color is True Beige but, it depends on your normal skin tone. Hope I help! =)
anything from MAC. covers everything and stays on all day.
maybelline dream matte mousse is good

What's the best compact (not liquid) foundation for oily skin that gives great coverage?

I use cover girl. It's a powder foundation, which covers very well with no make-up lines. Make sure you clean your face well, and apply moisturizer prior to putting on the foundation. When it drys, then put the powder foundation on, and you'll be radiant! What's the best compact (not liquid) foundation for oily skin that gives great coverage?
Bare Escentuals. It is a bit on the expensive side.but it honestly works

Between the liquid foundation and mineral foundation, which one do u prefer?

Theres really no such thing as ';mineral'; since everything really does have some kind of chemical in it. I perfer Clinique's Stay Matte pressed powder, but to answer your question if it was life or death I'd choose liquid foundation. Between the liquid foundation and mineral foundation, which one do u prefer?
i got mineral powder foundations from maybelline and it came

with a mineral concealer. and together it works great.Between the liquid foundation and mineral foundation, which one do u prefer?
I like both..... it depends on the occasion.

    Please answer my question

Any really good liquid foundation ?

that makes your skin look flawless? and not caked on.

and doesnt make you breakout easily.Any really good liquid foundation ?
its not a liquid foundation, its a compact, but Elizabeth Arden flawless finish sponge on makeup is great. i have oily skin, so use a mattifying moisturiser before, then apply this foundation. it looks very natural, and gives amazing coverage, and it doesn't look cakey or chalky like maybelline mousse.Any really good liquid foundation ?
    MakeUp Forever HD Foundation.

It is a little pricey ($40 for an oz.) but it's worth every penny. It gives you AWESOME coverage and it leaves you with a beautiful glow to your face. It leaves you looking like you have flawless skin... I always get compliments about my skin, not my makeup. If they only knew how uneven my skintone is and how I have acne scars on my cheeks!!
Clinique. Their skincare products (including their foundation) are superb.

Allthatglitters21 on youtube states that she has been wearing Clinique Superfit foundation for 8 years, so judging by that, it must be really good.

Another great one is ';Even Better'; by Clinique also. Check them out!
clinique doesnt make you break out because it is allergy tested on like 100 people. if one person get a break out they start formulating again.
clarins, benefit, diorshow airflash or clinique almost makeup

  • When i apply liquid foundation my face looks blotchy and dirty?

its the right tone and stuffWhen i apply liquid foundation my face looks blotchy and dirty?
Many people have this problem. Cleanse and exfoliate your face well before use. Then spread the foundation evenly over your skin. Don't put it on to thickly as sometimes that can result in blotchines and that dirty colour. After putting on the foundation put a natural powder on top to help the foundation to set. You may also find some bronzer helps too.

Personally however i would just stay away from liquid foundation. I have the same problems with it and tbh i find it much simpler just to use a non-liquid foundation. I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. Its really soft and looks natural on my skin.

hope this helps :]When i apply liquid foundation my face looks blotchy and dirty?
are you sure its the right tone? it might make your face look dirty if its too dark. Also its probably going on blotchy because you have dry skin on your face, make sure you exfoliate and use moisturiser 10 minutes before you put the foundation on so it goes on more smoothly. Try a foundation brush aswell instead of using your fingers it looks more even. If that still doesnt work I'd suggest using a different type of foundation (like mousse, cream to powder, etc.) as it probably isnt good for your skin type.
make sure your cleaning your face and you may want to try a scrub a couple times a week do get rid of any dead skin cells that could be causing the foundation to cling to certain areas. also MOISTURIZE if you dont already. moisturizing will smooth out and soften your skin leaving it with a perfectly smooth canvas to put the foundation on. so it'll glide on and not stick in one place causing it to be darker there than everywhere else. hope this helpd!!
Liquid foundation is bad because it sinks in cos its liquid and your skin always needs to be hydrated so it absorbs it creating a nasty effect, people say you mineral and powder etc but I dont think that gives great coverage, Dream matte mouse is good and cheap for everday make up!
Make sure your entire face is washed and all clean before you apply it. Any excess oil will cause liquid foundation to do that.

And also, use primer all over your face before applying the foundation.

It will prevent that bad look %26amp; keep your face fresh-looking all day long.
i used to have the same problem

i use bare minerals foundation now. It is sooooo good. It hides all belmishes and discoloration yet u cant even tell u are wearing makeup.

Its also super good for ur skin, and its like SPF 15 or something.

u can get it on amazon for $25 http://www.amazon.com/Bare-Escentuals-ba鈥?/a>
    i get the same problem,

probably best to use a mineral powder or a mousse style one.

it's slightly thicker than a liquid and so gives a more even coverage.

just make sure you wash your hands and face before you apply. this will ensure this is not 'old dirt'

    :D
hmmm...what are you using? it sounds like the foundation you're using is the wrong type for your skin type

I recommend changing products, foundation should make your face looks unblotchy and especially not dirty.
try mixing your foundation with your favourite moisturiser in equal parts on the back of your hand, then apply it. it should sink in fast and be way more even.

    it works for me !

also a good foundation brush works wonders.
It's because you're not cleaning your skin properly.

    You need a

    - facial scrub or exfoliater

    - cleanser

    - toner

    - moisturiser

    I suggest Neutrogena.
well first of all, its better to use powdered foundation but it doesnt cover as good. so if u using liquid, (or any other makeup) put on moisturizer and then put on the makeup
Doesn't mean its right for your skin

You might need to try different brands

or something other then a liquid foundation.
Is it a cheeper brand? Try a more expensive one. They work better for me

    Answer mine?

go to macys and ask any makeup consultant whats right for you a liquid one or mouse or cream or if your face is too oily than just a little pressed powder they'll tell you the right thing .
Don't use liquid, use mineral loose powder makeup.

    Try Bare Basics or Rejuva.
The foundation doesn't agree with your skin.

Easiest thing t do would be.......to stop.

    Just buy a different brand
    how would we know...

Is powder or liquid foundation better, and why?

I think that powder is better for your skin. Get a foundation that contains natural ingredients that wont clog your pores. If the coverage isn't enough for you then I would recommend Physican Formula that has concealers that help heal blemishes and covers.

    - hope i helpedIs powder or liquid foundation better, and why?
To be honest it depends on your skin type (dry. oily or normal). To test what your skin type is wash your face and after half an hour touch you T-zone and then your cheeks if you have an oily T-zone and dry cheeks (or Visa Versa) your a combination oily. If your face is oily your an oily skin, if your face feels dry then your a dry skin. If it doesn't feel oily or dry you have normal skin (only 10% of people have normal skin)

If you have redness you want to cover use Green Conceler

If you have darkness you want to cover use yellow, this is used all the time to give people the ';flawless'; look

If you have oily (or combination) use powder as this will help soak up the oils, liquid can make your body produce more

If you have dry use liquid

if you have normal you can use liquid, powder or mousseIs powder or liquid foundation better, and why?
Liquid is way better. It looks more natural. You can almost always tell when girls are wearing powder foundation. With liquid foundation, your skin still has a natural shine to it.

If you have red spots, use a cream concealer and then put this on.

    http://www.maybelline.com/images/products/thumbNails/108PMLF_xl.jpg

I've tried like a billion different kinds and this is totttally the best.
It is totally up to you which you would like better..

I prefer the powder by Bare Minerals as it goes on light and stays on all day..It is a natural looking foundation..and then use Mineral Veil over it..Good Luck!
i say liquid then use the press pwoder to cover ur foundation. i dont no it just seems like it says on long and goes on better

    can u help me

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
    liquid covers more

but powder doesn't clog your pores so much (causing pimples)

so depends on what you need... i generally use powder from day to day but liquid if im going out when people are going to take lots of photos :P
It depends on how much you have to cover acne, rosacha ect.... for just light coverage powder, but to cover heavier problems liquid for sure
it depends on your skin type if its dry then liquid is better and if its oily then powder is better..
    liquid.
i prefer liquid coz i feel powder just sits on my face lol

Whats worse for the skin, liquid foundation or powder?

liquid makes more sense to me but just to make sure! i been using liquid foundation for about 4 years now and i think my skin is messed up. im switching to powder now and was wondering if that would make any difference for my skin??Whats worse for the skin, liquid foundation or powder?
Neither one is bad for the skin. Actually foundation is good for the skin it acts as a protector. Without foundation all of the air born molecules and all will go onto your face. For our nostrils we have nose hairs which clean the air and trap unwanted particles before allowing it to enter our systems. It's the same with a foundation. The only thing is to find which one works best fo your skin. I always recommend liquid for dry skin and powder for oily skin. Now we have Mineral Powder and it can go for any skin type.

Now I do not recommend cheap products because they can be bad for the skin because of the dyes, fragrances and more. You should lean to Mineral products. MK offers a great line of products and it's quality that counts with them. Click the link below and see for yourself.Whats worse for the skin, liquid foundation or powder?
You didn't say what your skin problem is, but one is no worse than the other. Maybe your skin has become sensitive to the brand you are using. Sometimes we have to switch brands. It could also be what you are using to cleanse your face. You can try using a primer which creates a barrier between the skin and the makeup. It's very important to cleanse your skin properly. I use liquid and powder with no problems at all.
Liquid foundation clogs your pores. I would use powder .

Also, if you use liquid foundation, it could make your skin look oily. To apply liquid foundation to your face is always hard too! With powder, you just use a brush, but with foundation, you have to blend it in and it can cause wrinkles from all the stretching you are doing to your skin.
A lot of people are led to believe that liquid is worse but its really not. It depends on the brand and the ingredients so each product is different. You haven't stated what in particular is wrong with your skin but i recommend sticking to a routine of cleansing and moisturising your neck and face. Liz Earle Cleanse + Polish is AMAZING!

powder is worse for your skin.

when picking a foundation pick one that is oil free and non comedogenic. that means that it won't clog your pores.

try some of the mineral makeup, even if it is powder, because it is minerals it is better for the skin and covers surprisingly well. I always had bad skin and the mineral makeup is the most gentle on my face.

    good luck!
i prefer powder. Liquid foundation makes my skin looks oily. powder is definitely better.
Liquid foundation because you skin absorbs. Powder is a lot better.
    liquid foundation

Which is better... Laura Mercier Moisturizing Foundation (Liquid) or MAC Studio Fix Fluid Liquid Foundation?

I'm plannign to try a new liquid foundation because mineral makeup doesn't last long and the coverage isn't that great.. My face has a lot of red, etc. I have mild acne and dry skin.. So which foundation would be better for me?Which is better... Laura Mercier Moisturizing Foundation (Liquid) or MAC Studio Fix Fluid Liquid Foundation?
Laura Mercier is probably better. If your face has a lot of red, use a green concealer before applying your foundation.

Try Physicians Formula powder concealer with green tone ~~ it doesnt have allergen ingredients to cause more breakouts.Which is better... Laura Mercier Moisturizing Foundation (Liquid) or MAC Studio Fix Fluid Liquid Foundation?
don't get upset that i read your question and recommend something else. I would say try the product good skin they sell it at Kohl's department store in their beauty section. the foundation is great it doesn't cake up or feel heavy at all it was made by a dermatologist and they also have products for red sink dry skin oily skin and or acne . and the its not expensive at all i hope this helps a little. and if you don't like it you could just take it back.
between the two brands, i'd bet on laura mercier.

mac foundation is the best ive ever used but if your on a budget i would recommend revlon colorstay its just as good and comes in many colours
Use L'Oreal bare naturals. It's a mineral makeup that is far superior to any liquid I've ever tried.
I'm using a Lancome liquid foundation. Its really awsome! I don't know if it caters to oily skin, but I know it dosn't have oil in it so its good for not causing acne.
The best liquid foundation can be found at Bee-Luscious. Get the Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation. It has no oil, no talc and best of all NO bismuth so it shouldn't cause any breakouts. Use the Medicated Spot Cover for any blemishes.

Lancome Photogenic liquid foundation. it has SPF 15 in it too.
revlon is the best one. It always makes my skin glow and my friends wonder id i have a tan. try it and if u dont like it then try something else. Do NOT try avon products.
I have your type of skin and not everything would blend with my skin tone before, most of the time they would make my skin flaky and it was always obvious that I had foundation on...then I tried Mary Kay foundation, it perfectly matches my skin, u can't even tell that I have a found. on and at the same time it covers everything, they have for combination/oily or normal/dry skin types, they also match the color of f. with your skin....price is reasonable 14$...try to find a consultant in your area, they will help u...they can come to your house and u can try it for free, c if u like it or not....if u need any further help, send me an email: natalyok04@yahoo.com :)

    really well.

  • Why creamy foundation than liquid when you've to wet?

I wonder why they make any creamy foundation WHILE you have to wet the sponge/brush for best application %26amp; still will apply powder to set the make-up WHEN you can just use the liquid foundation then apply powder.

Thank you.Why creamy foundation than liquid when you've to wet?
cream foundation is supposed to give you a powder, natural type finish. whereas liquid can run and smudge off in places, usin gpowder with regular liquid can have a negative effect on your skin, it tends to clog up your pores more, and will make you have oilier skin later on so you have to keep pplying it which results in the ';cakeface'; look. Why creamy foundation than liquid when you've to wet?
Wetting the sponge is best for liquid makeup too, it stopes the makeup from all soaking up into the sponge. Cream foundation provides more coverage than most liquid, and works better on dry skin. cream foundation also tends to last longer.

HG, absolutely! The powder is used to set your make up and for touch ups during the day/evening. I like aularale.com/7002.
Yes. You need something to set your makeup and soak up any shine causing oil. As far as products go. Go to a mall and get testers. Use and find the right ones for you.

I use Aveda liquid foundation. It`s all natural, doesn`t test on animals, and has beautiful coverage. I really don`t use powder. I`m all liquid when it comes to foundation. It has the convenience of a powder but the coverage of a liquid.

  • Which primer, moisturizer, concealer and liquid foundation is best for my skin?

I have dry skin, and my whole face gets dried out easily.. And I also have acne prone skin so I want a heavy coverage foundation and concealer that hides my blemishes. I also have to deal with red bloches on my skin.. So what high-end brand would be best for me? (Clique.. MAC.. Smashbox.. Philosiphy.. Vincent Logo.. etc.)Which primer, moisturizer, concealer and liquid foundation is best for my skin?
Alright, i'll start with the acne prone skin... STAY AWAY from makeup with oil, which is in most liquids except Clinique's. I would stay away from liquids, but if you want to, use a brush instead of a sponge, beacause sponges breed bacteria. All of Clinique's makeup is oil free and non acnegenic, which just basically means it won't cause or make your acne worse. most makeup will just make your acne worse this one won't. Acne is caused by dead skin cells and oil clogging pores, so i'm guessing you may also be dealing with a little oil. Clinique has a great foundation called Superbalance makeup that won't clog your pores but will also moisturize where needed ( the price is good too, about $19.50, in the U.S.).

I'm not sure about the others, but i do know that MAC makes you break out because it started out as a stage makeup company and they use parabens which is harmful to your skin.Which primer, moisturizer, concealer and liquid foundation is best for my skin?
If you have acne prone skin, a heavy foundation may not help that situation. Here's what you need to do..before make-up..

find a Gentle exfoliator to help get rid of some of the dead skin which helps make your skin look like it's really dry. I really like Loreal Paris, they aren't high end, but I find that they get the job done. Next, find a moisture mask, like one of the ones that come in the plastic packages like are about $2 from London Drugs, they really work. Next, a lightweight moisturizer, one that does not clog pores. Again, I like Loreal Paris for this, HydraFresh Moisturiser for normal-dry skin.

For the make-up, use a med-coverage foundation. After you apply the foundation, leave it for about 10 min before you put concealer on because your face may still be a little red when you put it on and you may not need to cover all the area that you think is red. Do NOT use a powder foundation. I like Feel Naturale foundation or True Match from Loreal Paris, and you can easily find a matching concealer as well.

You don't necessarily need a high-end brand, but I would stay away from Smashbox, their products aren't that terrific.
I would invest in a moisturizer from Lancome or Clinique with an SPF in it- a high end brand that specializes in the health of skin. I use benefit primer ';that gal'; because it gives your face a healthy glow and it has a pink undertone so your skin will not look like you have tons of make up on. i also use the Benefit playstick (I use spin the bottle) because it works as a concealer and foundation. If you get a make up brush and cover your face with it it will not look cakey at all. It is healthy for your skin. I also have acne prone skin and my face does not break out at all, with MAC it did for sure. Make sure you wash your faceevery night to clean out your pores and I ould use a good night time moisutizer to rejuvenate your skin as you sleep!
Well, what you can do is buy some Clean and Clear Maximum Strength Invisible Blemish Treatment. You put it on in the morning, and leave it on all day. You can even put makeup on over it. I don't think the brand of makeup really matters. Just make sure you don't buy the cheap generic stuff.

Oh, and before you go to bed make sure you wipe EVERYTHING off your face. Otherwise, your face may break out and not look so pretty in the morning. :\

    Hope i helped!
first: seems like you need a calming facial wash and some good toner.

try a mineral based makeup like bare escentuals, it doesn't contain oils and ingredients that would clog pores.

By powder, I think you mean mineral I say... Everyday minerals. (:

Is liquid foundation or powder foundation better, and why?

Liquid foundation can really clog your pores and cause major skin breakouts, allergies, it can even irritate your skin and make it red, itchy, even dry. And powder foundation can do the same but highlight the dry areas of your skin. The only foundation I have found effective in every positive way has been Bare Minerals. In fact there is a rather small collection just released by Bare Minerals that is packaged as a first aid kit that will heal and protect your skin in whatever bad shape it may be in. Check it out at Sephora, I just spotted it five minutes ago. :)Is liquid foundation or powder foundation better, and why?
a light liquid foundation is best because it allows your skin to breathe and it looks most natural. a powder foundation all over the face settles into any lines and makes one look older and their skin look wrinkly. only use a powder foundation on top of the light liquid foundation, over the small imperfections like pimples. it helps reduce the redness. you can also dust some on areas of your face that look oily like the forehead. never use powder foundation around the eyes! you will look wrinkly. Hope that helps! Is liquid foundation or powder foundation better, and why?
Many people prefer to start with liquid then put powder on it, but it tends to give them an oily look. I personally prefer to start with powder and get a smooth finish. Liquid evens out your skin, but as I said before it makes your skin look very oily. Powder does not cover as well, but it gives a more natural look. If you already have liquid then I suggest you get powder also to get the advantages of both types with none of the disadvantages (ie. covers well while looking smooth and silky)
Liquid foundation is better in the winter to moisturize your skin.

Powder is generally better in the summer to keep it dry.

If you do the opposite, it's usually fine.. but that's the way I function face makeup - I have a summer set of darker powder, and a winter set of lighter liquid.

    Hope that helps (:
I like liquid on bottum and powder on top. This sets the look and makes you not look oily or anything. I do this because I have bad skin and I like to hide it and this does a pretty good job. So really ask yourself... do you want more coverage or less?

Powder will give you less and liquid will give you more. Tinted moistureizer will give you even less and a glowy look.
I would trust powder because liquid may have a tendency to look cakey and they clog your pores more than powder. If you have alot of discoloration, blemishes or freckles you want to conceal then liquid is a more reliable. Good luck!
Powder is WAY better for your skin. Liquid foundation clogs all of your pores which causes pimples it's like wearing another face. While powder foundation just makes a layer over your skin and doesn't clog your pores.

In my opinion powder is way better.(:
both always broke me out so i say neither...i have used Dinair Airbrush Makeup the past 2 years and i LOVE it...it makes my skin look flawless and it all water based so its not bad for ur skin....if u google Dinair you'll find their site. Anywho, i hope i helped...=)
normally people do liquid first then powder on top... but I personally think powder is better cos you don't look like you have oily skin.

    answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
Liquid is for full cover w.o that cake look. the powder is actually supposed to be the concealer, to put the ';finishing touches'; on you. I'd say liquid. some days i go w.o the powder.
powder is better for your skin and it looks more natural. Liquid looks smoother but it feels to heavy (in my opinion). So i think the powder is better, but it all depends on your skin and how you put it on.
I don't use liquid foundation because I hate the way it feels. I use mineral powder :)

It's mostly about preference and skin type. Liquid pretty much guarantees a breakout for me but for some they swear by it.
i personaly like liquid becuz it coves your pores better and powder gets every where. and try to get oil free liquid foundation. it doesnt clog your pores as much.
    powder definately

liquid- u can actually feel it clogging ur pores (eww gross)

-ppl can actually c it in the bumps in ur skin

    -%26amp; it just looks weird
You should really use Tinted Moisturizer because foundation is really aging. But I would say liquid foundation.
i actually prefre liquid foundation more. because i have dry skin and powder makes my face look flaky and liquid is more easier to apply
Powder is better if you have oily skin, but the coverage is not as good as that of liquid foundation.
both have their pros and cons

so why not just get a foundation thats a cream to powder finish or perhaps even the other way around:)
powder foundation because its more natural..better for your skin.
i think liquid, because it is easier to spread around your face, and last longer.

  • Oil control liquid foundation- does it work?

i have semi-oily skin and i always bring clean and clear oil absorbing sheets everywhere and use them constantly bc im always like scared my face is going to look so oily and gross...anyway i just went to CVS and bought clean makeups oil control liquid foundation..im just wondering if anyone knows if it actually works?Oil control liquid foundation- does it work?
never tried it but my face is oily too and i switched too physicians formula organics. try the tinted moisturizer and top it with lil face powder. it should not go anywhere! i do that but then use the blush from the same line which really goes on matte. then i top everything off with clean and clears translucent shine control powder. it stays for hours!! ive had trouble too dealing with oil but so far this seems to be working and i live in so. cal. dont worry about zits or anything because since its light and organic it doesnt clog pores. good luck!Oil control liquid foundation- does it work?
It should work! It has a mattifier that will help to absorb the oil throughout the day. Make sure that you don't use too much because it can make you look very dry and chalky... stay fabulous!
it is better to use a compact powder

liquid foundation dosen't look good on oily skin

What do you prefer: liquid or stick foundation?

I am trying to choose between Laura Mercier Stick Foundation and Chanel's Liquid Foundation...Has anyone ever tried any of them before?

P.S. I don't like mineral makeup! LOL!What do you prefer: liquid or stick foundation?
I like liquid better, it's easier to blend and control and is lighter coverage than a stick. I haven't used the Chanel Liquid Foundation but I've heard it's really good. What do you prefer: liquid or stick foundation?
Stick foundation is for more coverage, and tends to be thicker and requires tons of blending for an even application. Liquid foundation comes is many varieties, from a sheer tinted moisturizer to a full coverage thick liquid. Since you don't like mineral makeup, liquid is the best place to start. Cause you can try all the formulas til you find one you like.
    Liquid Foundation.

I don't really like mineral makeup either, it's too messy.

But I have used it in the the form of loose powder and matted powder also.
I like liquid better, i feel like i can control how thick it goes on, and with a stick it's kinda caked on!

Liquid can be blended and its just so much easier to work with x
    Liquid!

    Much much easier!

Is Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid a good foundation?

I've been using Max factor Colour Adapt for a couple of months and I love it but I'm starting to run out and I don't know whether to continue with Colour Adapt or to try Dream Satin Liquid.

I preveously used Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse and I hated it, are Dream Matte Mousse and Dream Satin Liquid Similar? Is Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid a good foundation?
Today I bought Dream Satin Liquid and I think it is absolutley brilliant. They have loads of testers so I found my perfect perfect colour. Seriously, it couldn't be a better match. It's really smooth and looks fab. Personally, I don't like mousse a lot. I tried some of that today and under your eyes if you blink or anything it gets pretty cakey and eek. I love the satin liquid though, it's brill. I'd suggest if you find your colour (%26amp; you probably will), go for dream satin - it'll be a change at least. Is Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid a good foundation?
OMG i tried this foundation yesterday. Its the best kind i have EVER EVER used. Ive used loads of diff ones, Estee Lauder, Max factor, No7, Dream matte mouse, Dior, but this ones the best. It really does look poreless, it goes on like a dream, and lasts all day. Im normally really critical of foundations :P

I highly reccomend it, its fab

    hope this helps xoxo
I Think When It Comes To Something Like Your Face You Should Invest A Lil More Because Its Important, Like You Should Try This Brand Called Makeup Forever Which You Can Find At Sephora..The Foundation Has Like A Rating Of A 4.7 Out Of 5.. Its Better To Get Good Foundation For Your Skin Then The Cheap Drugstore
I don't like the dream matte mousse either, but the maybelline satin liquid foundation is a whole lot different, i use it all the time. It makes your skin really soft, if your not sure buy a small amount and test it out on you. Give it a go i know you'll love it! x
    Hiya,

No there not similar for me, the liquid is just so much easier to put on, and it spreads out evenly and not too thick. But with the dream matte mousse..it just makes your face look hairy, and like paste!

    Hope I helped. x
i recently had the maybeline dream matte mousse foundation but i hated it as it dried out my skin! but i boughht the foundation last week and it really is great! its moisturising and doesnt cake also it gives a nice even finish
dream satin liquid is really good

ive gone through so many foundations and bought this last week and its the best ive ever had

    =)
Id actually suggest using a more natural product. all of them make your skin oily.
    Yess it is good :)
    Yep!
    no, they test on animals
yeah i use it every day :) its well good :)

What should I use: liquid or powder foundation?

I hear that liquid foundation is for dry skin and powder foundation is for oily skin. I have oily skin, so I'm leaning toward powder, but will it make me break out? I already have some minor acne so I'm a little scared of what foundation will do to my face. What should I use: liquid or powder foundation?
I would use powder foundation (use neutrogena) Make sure to buy a make up remover and wash your face with it every night before going to bed and you shouldn't get any breakouts... Neautrogena also helps prevent acne. What should I use: liquid or powder foundation?
Powder most defiantly with liquid foundation you have to get the exact color or risk looking like a clown powder you can go a little either way and it not be noticeable. Get mineral powder to its good for your skin! The acne shouldnt flair up if you take your foundation off when your chilling out at home and stuff. I have acne prone skin and tend to break out if I leave it on over night when I am feeling to lazy to take it off so as long as you remember to take it off I think you will be good.

If you have oily skin, DO NOT use foundation. It will only make your skin look even more oily. If you really need to use something like foundation, use a tinted moisturizer, it will hydrate your skin, even out your complexion, and also give you a foundation look. (You skin tone will be lightly evened out.)

    http://www.oprah.com/article/omagazine/2鈥?/a>
I have oily foundation too, and I love my powder foundation.

If you're allergic too it, you may break out. Try it and see.

I like Jane Be Pure mineral foundation because it's hypoallergenic, it's made for sensitive skin.
use liquid for dry skin, use powder for oily skin.

if you have oily skin and use liquid it will make your skin oilier.

if you use powder for dry skin it will make your skin irritated from lack of

    hydration
I have oily skin and i use liquid just get the oil free kind at ulta..its so much faster usually i put liquid...conseler... and then to make it alittle prettier
    Powder
I like liquid it last longer..(depends on brand)
Liquid! It blends in more and dries out those blemishes faster!
    powder

i think the liquid doesnt really blend well but im not sure

Help! My baby spilt liquid foundation on the carpet! Where do I get drycleaning fluid from????

Could try cleaning the spot with hydrogen peroxideHelp! My baby spilt liquid foundation on the carpet! Where do I get drycleaning fluid from????
If you have a baby - don't try to use the dry cleaning fluid yourself. It would be very hard to clean it all properly, and the residue could cause harm to your child.

Call a service to do a spot clean, or rent a machine to do deep cleaning from your grocery store.Help! My baby spilt liquid foundation on the carpet! Where do I get drycleaning fluid from????
They sell fluid for wet vacuum cleaners at WallMart. If you go there to buy it, make sure you go to the section where they sell the actual vacuum cleaners because that's where they fluid bottles are. I used to always think they were out of the product because I was looking in the cleaning product section of the store and they are never there.

But rather than that method, I truly suggest buying a product called ';Awesome';. Not the ';Awesome Carpet Cleaner'; but the regular liquid multi purpose cleaner that comes in either a spray bottle or refiller. They sell it at the ';Dollar Tree';. It will take out anything including ink. Just spray it right on the carpet and I'm sure it will work. I use it for everything.

mabeyline pure makeup. Comes in a variety of skin tones. Its really easy to apply with a little sponge triangle. But it is more of a creamy foundation but i love it.

    Hope this helps!

Which liquid foundation/all over face powder is best for very dry skin?

after i wash my face in the morning, i apply moisturizer, and this is supposed to stop my skin fron bein so dry, but it just doesn't do the trick. is there a foundation i can buy that moisturizes while serving as an all over cover face?Which liquid foundation/all over face powder is best for very dry skin?
I would stop washing your face in the morning. Only wash it once a day so as not to strip it of oils. Wash at night, to remove all the gross stuff your face absorbed during the day. Then moisturize both day and night. Or, in the morning you could use a tinted moisturizer, which is like both a moisturizer and a light foundation. I would skip foundations made for older people because they generally have oil in them, which can create acne.Which liquid foundation/all over face powder is best for very dry skin?
I think you better consult a dermatologist for a specific moisturizer.

Try to avoid make-up right now you`re sooo young, and you should take care of your skin not hide it.

Make-up should be a the icing on the cake to enhance your skin and not a mask to hide behind it.
What kind of moisturizer do you use? I know I have dry skin too and I use polypeptide cream for 50 year olds, it is the only thing that works! As for foundation, that is hard, I like the liquid minerals, it can make any skin look good.

    A non-oil based and hypo-allergetic liquid foundation?

I need a few ideas as I begin my recovery from acne.A non-oil based and hypo-allergetic liquid foundation?
Liquid foundation is passe. It doesn't matter if it is hypo-allernetic or not, it will clog your pores and you will have to use harsh astringent to get it out.

If you do use mineral make up, do not use sheer cover. Bare Minerals or Everyday Minerals will conceal your acne without clogging your pores.A non-oil based and hypo-allergetic liquid foundation?
if you dont want a liquid... powder foundation works good, too. Bare minerals sold at sephora and some jc penneys. (check the sephora website) works marvelous and is actually good for your skin. It has won tons of awards. I dont know how i lived without it. Go to the store and try it on. You'll be amazed. Or if you really want a liquid... try maybellines pure line. it lets your skin breath. :o)
    almay is the best
I would definitely recommend Bee Royal Products. Our make-up is mineral, so it is great for sensitive skin and above all, it prevents breakouts. I would suggest the Mineral Liquid Foundation, Silk Radiance Powder, and Safari Mineral Bronzer. These are my favorite products. Email me at shayna_097@yahoo.com and I will help you pick out the best products for your skin type and complexion!!
Cliniques products are all hypo-allergenic. I've cleared up thanks to them. Oil Free too, and no animal testing!
MAC products are really good, they're oil free and all. I have sensitive skin, and it's just perfect, and I'm recovering from acne too.
if your recovering from acne, i'd definitley stay away from foundation. why not try sheer cover or bare minerals. it's all natural minerals and it's great for the skin. however, if u must have foundation, i suggest bobbi brown oil-free liquid foundation. also, a lot of chanel's liquid foundations are dermatologist tested, non-comedegenic (won't clog pores), and oil-free

Any good powder goes with revlon colorstay liquid foundation?

i just bought the revlon colorstay liquid foundation, and i set it with NYC press powder, but it seem unnatural after i set it. So i was wondering if anyone know a good mineral powder to set it with, if it contain SPF then it would be better. (drugstore brand please(=Any good powder goes with revlon colorstay liquid foundation?
hmm okay well first of all i suggest u dont use powder with revlon colorstay because, revlon colorstay already gives u full coverage and when u put it on it pretty much hides and flaws and blends in so it looks natural, so i suggest dont use a powder coz it is a havey foundation for full coverage and unless u really need powder for more coverage i wouldnt suggest it, but a good brand that looks very natural and doesnt give a cakey feeling , i would suggest maybelline loose mineral powder, it is mineral powder so it nmatural gives ur face a glow and looks very smooth and natural (as far as spf , im not sure it contains but i think it does contain like spf 15) hope this helps

I use MAC mineral powder foundation. Is it ok to use a liquid foundation underneath?

Yes! Just apply a very thin liquid foundation with a foundation sponge/wedge. :)I use MAC mineral powder foundation. Is it ok to use a liquid foundation underneath?
    of course!

if you want more coverage that's probably a great thing to do!

but if you were asking something like ';is it ok to use MAC mineral powder foundation underneath liquid?'; then it wouldn't work.

it would get cakey and gross.

liquid/cream under a powder is the way to go

^.^I use MAC mineral powder foundation. Is it ok to use a liquid foundation underneath?
yes it is the liquid foundation provides more coverage and by applying a mineral powder on top it helps to seal the foundation so it won't run. Also if you have oily skin by applying foundation then a powder on top it will help make the skin have a matte appearance
No, it is going to be way too much and look cakey. Why do you want to wear two foundations at the same time? If you need more coverage get a good concealer and use that before your powdered foundation. You can always dust with a light loose powder after that too.
    you're supposed to

here's the best way to put on makeup:

    1. wash ur face

    2. lotion up!

    3. sunscreen maybe?

    4. liquid foundation

    5. powder foundation

    6. concealor

    7. eyemakeup/blush/contour
yes but make sure it's not caked on your face. liquid can be used as a base along with concealer and the powder can be used to touch up any spots that need extra attention.

Do you use liquid foundation or some other base to even out your skin colour so it has a flawless look?

i use Max factor Flawless Perfection which i do love, but wondered if there was something better about? my friend uses some green stuff prior to foundation. sometimes my skin can be a bit dry around my nose even after cleansing, toning and mosturiser.

am from England so would appreciate english available products. cheers. i have pale skin and freckles which sometimes i love and sometimes hate. am brunette too in case that helps.Do you use liquid foundation or some other base to even out your skin colour so it has a flawless look?
I'll tell you a good tip.. use a base of a tinted moisturising tan, something like 'Dove summer glow'... that'll take a few hours to come out, so maybe do it before you go to bed. but that gives you a wicked base and it's really subtle too, so you won't look orange! But then you can apply your regular foundation and powder and you're skin tone will look great!Do you use liquid foundation or some other base to even out your skin colour so it has a flawless look?
use the mousse foundation, it helps with dry skin
I am in US but i have used green concealor from Estee Lauder and foundation now I use mineral makeup and it is the greatest! There are a number of different kinds out there Loreal which is what i use, bare minerals, everyday minerals and sheer cover! Most are mail order so i think they ship all over the place!
Bare Essentuals is perfect for your skin. All natural so it won't clog pores, light and gives ur skin the look of being absolutely perfect!

i love smashbox its a skin primer you use under your make up it leaves a smooth flawless finish and your foudation glides on its brilliant the best on the market i say worth every penny
i find avon products best they do one that suites you what ever your skin tone and it gives you a real healthy glow check out there website
buy a good concealer, im dark under my eyes, and have red spots under my nose. I use lancome color ID. This kind of foundation evens out your skin tone and blends into it, its heaven sent, and lasts for like 6 months, so its worth the money. I am the palest shade on the market, and it does wonders for me.

If i want to go the cheap route. I Just use a concealer (any brand in ivory) and use a tented moisturizer by neutrogena with a powder over it.
Victoria's Secret cream foundation is great. You would not need any green stuff to cover your flaws. I am not sure whether they carry this in Europe, but a lot of women in US have fallen in love with this product.
microdermabrasion evens skin tone out without makeup and mineral makeup can help without clogging pores. True and Jane Iredale are some ot the best. Microdermabrasion should be available at most spas in England.
I really like Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, great finish
do you guys have remmel in london they say its the london look. also if they have maybaleen there you should try there foundation you cant even tell you have that foundation on. hope i helped
I use mouse foundation like ';Cool Matte Mouse'; Or ';Dream Matte Mouse'; And then put on pressed powder, wich gives you an unshiny, matte finish and looks natural.
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is made from natural ingredients and looks really good!

=)Know of any good compact foundations that last all day? I don't want to use a liquid.?
Well, there's this one product by Max Factor which is quite new.

It's called Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation.

It's a concealer, foundation and powder, all-in-one combination.

I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard about many people who've raved on about it.

It's just under 拢10 which is quite a deal, since you're getting all the three basics you need for a flawless complexion!

xxxKnow of any good compact foundations that last all day? I don't want to use a liquid.?
Avons Cream to Powder foundation works really well
clineque (idk if i spelt it right) they have a powder it last all day and its sooo light on your face i love it
I like MaryKay foundation with CoverGirl powder over that.

When i apply liquid foundation i go orange .. HELP what should i do ??

I normally apply laval liquid foundation with a make up pad but i always go orange what should i do to make myself not go orange ?!?!When i apply liquid foundation i go orange .. HELP what should i do ??
L'Oreal has a True Match makeup line, that is sectioned of into 3 different skin undertone types-- yellow, rosy and neutral. Try holding the clear sheet up to your face (not on it, because it harbors bacteria), and see which shade disappears with your skin. Once you've found your match in foundation, they also have coordinating powders, concealers and blushes. This should solve your ';orange'; problem. Never buy any foundation that does not match your skin tone; it will never look right. When i apply liquid foundation i go orange .. HELP what should i do ??
get a lighter shade maybe?! n not put so much on too
I dont know where you live, but go to Sephora if you have one, or go to your local department store's make up counter and they will try colors on you until youve found the right one.

I am going to suggest Bare Minerals....it is good for your skin, and if applied correctly (not too much!) it blends in very nicely, but too much of it can cause the orange look.

    good luck.
Never use liquid! Powder works the best...except on zits and stuff like that.
next time you purchase foundation, get the make-specialist to come over and help you find your perfect shade! this is usually free :)
Well its not what you apply it with, when i started wearing foundation there were 2 things making me orange. For one i was wearing the wrong colour, perhaps you could go where you get your foundation and ask about the right colour for you. Another reason could be that you put too much on the pad ... try putting it directly onto your face in small blobs over your face, and then blending them over your skin. It also helps someimes to puty a lighter colour face powdeer over the foundation.
Well before you buy liquid foundation try to put it first.
liquid might not b for u try pouder .....

oh and r u using your moms stuff cuz thats what usually happens...kids use their moms stuff and after wearing it realize that their mom and them r not the same shade

so try going to a tip top makeup shop ( like mac ) and ask for some help.....you will find the right stuff for u!

    xx
for foundation you should use the most similiar shade to your own skin. if you still go orange try a different make or apply less. hope that helps :]
you need to get the right shade for your skin tone
go to a makeup place or dept. in a store

    sephora and macy's are recommended

and ask them which foundation would best suit your face

they are very helpful!! they got the exact skin tone that matches my face!! im so happy with them!!
It seems you have picked the wrong shade to go with if it 'turns orange', it's probley way to dark for your skin color even though they say to go one shade darker than your skin tone.. If liquid foundation isn't working for you theres always bare minerals and powder foundation and such which shouldn't turn you orange.
use the right shade lol... try powder..
    dont use as much ^^
Well, maybe you should try and get a different foundation because the foundation that you are using may be too dark for you.
Finding the right color is the obvious answer, but something you may not know is that you have to scrub...up your exfoliation because dead skin will turn orange with foundation and self tanner. Secondly make sure that you go with neutral undertones which will help to keep it true to color.

You may find that you should invest in a foundation from a cosmetic line because they will match you and work with you to make sure that you are using the right skincare.
Change the colour foundation you are using to one that has no orange tones in it.
Unless you have the lightest of light skin or olive skin, you should be using a foundation with a yellow base. no pinks! I use mary kay and i know that the foudations are like 200, 202, 204, 300...etc. so in mary kay the ones ending in -00 are the ones that look best on most people. and i think the 04's are for olive skin. maybe ask someone at the makeup desk, or keep trying. i will never stop using marykay, as long as it stays like it is.
Try powder i use it its amazing but get a light colour then you can apply more and more but with a darker colour you cant apply less nd less
You need a different shade closer to your ACTUAL skin color hun
    don't apply liquid foundation
Well some brands such as clinque has undertones in their foundation, some have an orange tone, some have a beige tone and others have a yellow tone, my suggestion to you is to get fitted for a different color.

What do you think of this idea, and would it work? putting liquid foundation in an airbrush?

Just a regular air brush and trying to put liquid foundation on it to paint something with? How would this work? What do you think of this idea, and would it work? putting liquid foundation in an airbrush?
What for? It would probably work, that is what they do on Victoria's secret models (legs etc) right before a show. What do you think of this idea, and would it work? putting liquid foundation in an airbrush?
you can actually buy airbrush foundation. you get one of those triangle wedges and spray it on the part you rub on your face and then rub in circular motion on ur face. it helps even out your skin tone and also evens out any redness u have. I dont think that putting liquid foundation in an airbrush wold have the same effect, the foundation in the airbrush cans that you buy are made different, lighter, so that it sprays nicer.
just buy the airbrush makeup foundation. i thinks its a thinner consistency than regular foundations so it sprays out easier.
yes...models do that to paint their bodies.
